Introducing the Masquerade Ball recipients – 100% of proceeds will go the to Oettel Family & Vivian’s Hope Foundation!

On November 29th 2022, 9 year old Vivian went to the doctor for a flu virus she picked up at a sleepover. Within 10 minutes, the head of oncology told her family their beautiful and perfectly healthy baby girl had Lymphoma. Their whole world turned upside down in an instant.

In March 2023, Vivian had severe responses to chemo resulting in months long hospital admissions, chemo toxicity, time on a ventilator and having to learn to walk again. In May, they were told to call her family in to tell her goodbye and truly witnessed a miracle through the power of prayer as Vivian fought her way back.

Vivian is now entering Interim Maintenance and beginning the final stretch of her journey. They are still pressing into Jesus and believing Vivian has beat this disease. She is currently in remission and has approximately 19 more months of chemo to go.

In the midst of her own battle, Vivian and her family created Vivian’s Hope Foundation- a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation whose mission is to bless cancer patients and families with A LOT of prayer and a little bit of comfort and fun during a physically and emotionally exhausting event in their lives. They want to empower kids to find their inner strength as they walk through the unthinkable and battle this disease. They are currently open to children and families in Tennessee undergoing active treatment for cancer. The foundation is supported by donations and all of the events and donations to the kids and families are 100% free of charge. Vivian wanted to create something that would bring hope and strength to other children and families during their battle.
